We're seeking a strategic financial leader who will drive innovative financial planning and decision-making for our ground-breaking Studios Technology team. Your expertise will directly impact how we fund, support, and scale transformative media technology projects.
Key job responsibilities
- Lead comprehensive financial planning across multiple strategic cycles, ensuring precise resource allocation and project prioritization
- Develop sophisticated financial models that support critical leadership decision-making
- Collaborate with technology partners to understand project landscapes and optimize financial strategies
- Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities across technology initiatives
- Serve as the primary financial escalation point for Studios Technology, maintaining rigorous financial controllership

About the team
Our Studios Technology team is a dynamic group of innovators committed to pushing the boundaries of media production and technology. We're building the future of entertainment, and we need financial experts who can translate complex financial strategies into tangible technological advancements.
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, or a related analytical field (e.g., engineering, math, computer science)
- 5+ years of multiple finance and accounting roles experience
- 4+ years of building financial and operational reports/data sets that inform business decision-making experience
- 4+ years of participating in continuous improvement projects in your team to scale and improve controllership with measurable results experience
- 6+ years of solving complex business challenges by delivering accurate and timely financial models, analysis, and recommendations that have a proven impact on business (e.g., financial savings, operational improvements, or customer benefits) experience
- MBA, or CPA
- Experience delivering forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis, and data interpretation of results
- Experience performing ad hoc analysis using advanced Excel

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $85,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $179,500/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
