DESCRIPTION

Orchestrate Fire TV's next-generation product launches from Proto to mass production, driving technical excellence across global engineering builds and validation milestones. Transform complex hardware-software requirements into market-ready streaming devices, leading cross-functional teams through DFM, firmware integration, and flawless product delivery.

Key job responsibilities
Product Development Leadership
Champion end-to-end NPDI programs from concept to mass production, driving technical milestones through EVT/DVT/PVT phases
Orchestrate product requirements and engineering deliverables across global development teams, ensuring design excellence and timeline adherence
Launch Management
Develop and execute comprehensive launch strategies, identifying critical paths and implementing risk mitigation plans
Lead build readiness reviews and production qualification, managing ECOs and manufacturing ramp while maintaining quality standards
Cross-functional Program Management
Synchronize complex deliverables across Industrial Design, Hardware, Software, Supply Chain, and Quality Engineering, ensuring seamless integration
Drive executive decisions through data-driven insights on launch timing, BOM cost targets, and quality metrics while managing dependencies
Technical Operations
Spearhead DFM optimization, pilot builds, and engineering samples while ensuring robust firmware integration and validation
Own reliability testing and qualification processes, driving rapid resolution of technical issues through root cause analysis

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
Experience in consumer electronics New Product Development Introduction (NPDI)
Strong understanding of hardware development cycles
Experience managing complex bill of materials (BOM)
Track record of successful product launches
Knowledge of manufacturing processes and quality systems
Excellence in project management and risk mitigation

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Master's degree in technical field or MBA
PMP Certification
Experience with streaming media devices
Background in Android-based platforms
International supplier management experience
Six Sigma certification

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $133,800/year in our lowest geographic market up to $231,300/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
