As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you lead complex, multi-disciplinary engineering projects using your engineering expertise. You plan requirements with internal customers and usher projects through the entire project lifecycle. This includes managing project schedules, identifying risks and clearly communicating them to project stakeholders. You're equally at home explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical trade-offs in product development with engineers.

Using your extensive technical and leadership expertise, you manage various Engineering-specific programs and teams.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $227,000-$320,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Define, own and drive the multi-year goal and roadmap for critical security programs, ensuring alignment with company-wide objectives, anticipating emerging threats, and influencing executive leadership on security priorities.
  • Develop a team of Executive Security TPMs, fostering a culture of technical excellence and accountability while providing mentorship, career guidance, and performance management.
  • Act as the primary security liaison for executive leadership across engineering, product, and cross-functional partners. Drive consensus and navigate organizational dynamics to execute cross-functional security initiatives.
  • Oversee the identification and mitigation of security risks across multiple domains and ensure the delivery of scalable and compliant solutions.
  • Manage a portfolio of security programs from inception to completion, establish success metrics, communicate status to stakeholders, and resolve escalations effectively.
