The Ring Product Operations team is looking for an individual who wants to work on a business that is growing at a rapid pace. We are a critical part of the hardware development and product launch process. We ensure successful fulfillment for product launches and ongoing support, grow the capabilities of our current systems and supply chain to meet our needs, and drive continuous improvement for the company.

As a Senior Operations Program Manager (OPM) for Ring, you are the focal representation of everything Operations and Supply Chain related. You will orchestrate plans and drive solutions for Ring business teams in productization.

As a Sr. Operations Program Manager, you will engage with experienced cross-disciplinary teams to conceive, design and develop innovative consumer products. You must be responsive, flexible and able to succeed within an open collaborative peer environment. You'll work closely with a team of business development, engineering, manufacturing and supply chain experts to deliver a world class product at right quantity, cost, and quality to Ring’s customers. Experience in new product development, contract manufacturing management, cross functional core-team engagement, planning for delivery and working in a high paced environment is a must.

Key job responsibilities
Sr. Operations Program Manager (OPM) is the Single Threaded Owner (STO) for all aspects of Operational readiness of the program.
Able to set the forward looking direction and influence strategies related to product development. The Sr. OPM will create, launch and optimize operational efficiencies in NPI operations. The Sr. OPM will engage and work across multiple functions within operations, engineering and other applicable areas across Devices and Services organization. Additionally, the Sr. OPM will balance a mix of strategic, program level and operational responsibilities in support of Ring's Product Operations Organization. The individual would have worked in delivering NPI programs in product operations/manufacturing lead role pertaining to Consumer Electronics or similar devices.

A day in the life
The Sr. OPM will:
Define and guide decisions on type of Variable Engagement Module (VEM), appropriate for the specific product, customer need and launch schedule.
Coordinate information flow and able to lead cross functional teams in support of manufacturing/operations.
Provide product costs and other costs associated with operations and supply chain to develop the product.
Drive alignment of processes and initiatives throughout the Product Operations organization.
Bring in and help incorporate industry best practices into Product Operations business.
Drive Product lessons learned cross-functionally.

About the team
The Sr. OPM role reports into the Product Operations Organization. A global product focused organization responsible for coordinating program specific activities related to cost, supply chain and manufacturing across different functional areas with the objective of creating products that make neighborhoods safer.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

5+ years of program or project management experience
Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

2+ years of driving process improvements experience
Master's degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $133,800/year in our lowest geographic market up to $231,300/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
