Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 4 years of experience in front-end development, technical UX design, or prototyping.
- Experience in application development in at least one platform/area (e.g., web, iOS, Android, CompDes, XR).
- Experience in software development, game development or other systems.
- Experience building prototypes for AI/ML systems, AI-native development tool-chains and workflows.
Preferred qualifications:
- 5 years developing responsive, adaptive, and performant websites and applications.
- 5 years of experience as a front-end developer, UX Engineer, creative or design technologist, or in a prototyping design environment.
- Experience with developer tools or complex enterprise-class applications.
- Knowledge of the software development process.
- Understanding the latest methods and tools and AI technologies, who have a strong POV on building usable and innovative UIs, and can deliver comprehensive prototypes.
- Ability to be a system thinker who can develop reusable patterns and frameworks that span our entire ecosystem of apps.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $129,000-$185,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
- Develop user journeys, mockups, and prototypes to effectively communicate technical and design solutions.
- Work with a cross-functional team to identify, scope, and execute on opportunities to improve server development tools and features.
- Present concepts, proposals, and updates to executive stakeholders, and translate complex concepts into simple and elegant design solutions.
- Apply common Google Material styles and partner with engineering on implementation requirements.
- Bridge the gap between advanced technologies, including AI/ML, and intuitive user experiences in complex and ambiguous problem spaces.
