About the job

A problem isn’t truly solved until it’s solved for all. That’s why Googlers build products that help create opportunities for everyone, whether down the street or across the globe. As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you’ll use your technical expertise to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. You’ll work with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. You're equally comfortable explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical tradeoffs in product development with engineers.

In this role, you will work directly with Google’s most strategic public sector customers on large multi-year transformational engagements underpinned by Google Distributed Cloud air-gapped to drive value for those customers. You will provide delivery management, consulting, and technical vision to customer engagements while working with Google's cross-functional executives and key technical leaders to oversee the planning and deployment of solutions via Google's air-gapped cloud platform. You will establish and lead a strategic planning framework for a complex program portfolio including direct influence over resourcing decisions, planning cadence, and planning stakeholders.

Google Public Sector brings the magic of Google to the mission of government and education with solutions purpose-built for enterprises. We focus on helping United States public sector institutions accelerate their digital transformations, and we continue to make significant investments and grow our team to meet the complex needs of local, state and federal government and educational institutions.
