Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience in physical design CAD flow development from netlist to GDSII.
  • Experience with industry-standard tools such as Primetime, StarRC, Redhawk, Innovus, Fusion compiler Place and Route tools.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master's degree or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or Computer Science or a related field.
  • Experience with advanced nodes (e.g., 3nm, 2nm).
  • Experience with Design for Testability (DFT) methodologies.
  • Knowledge of low-power design techniques.
  • Excellent scripting skills in Python and TCL.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $156,000-$229,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Lead the Static Timing Analysis (STA) and EMIR flow development.
  • Collaborate with Design, Physical design, IT/infrastructure teams to ensure successful Computer Aided Design (CAD) flow development.
  • Develop and maintain PDCAD methodologies for STA and EMIR.
  • Evaluate and introduce new CAD tools and technologies including AI/ML.
  • Contribute to the development of technical specifications and documentation.
