DESCRIPTION

We're seeking an exceptional Revenue Cycle Manager III to drive financial excellence and transform our revenue management processes. In this pivotal role, you'll lead our Revenue Cycle team, implementing innovative strategies that optimize revenue recognition, collections, and operational efficiency while nurturing a collaborative and growth-oriented team environment. This role oversees commercial billing, charge capture, coding, AR, cash posting and patient financial services.

This role will will be located in Seattle or San Francisco working in our office 5 days a week.

Key job responsibilities
Lead and develop the Revenue Cycle team, fostering a culture of professional growth, accountability, and continuous improvement
Manage monthly revenue recognition, reporting, and financial close processes with precision and strategic insight
Design and implement automated scalable processes to support organizational growth
Analyze complex financial datasets to identify opportunities for revenue optimization and operational efficiency
Develop and monitor performance management tools to track team productivity and strategic initiatives
Determining areas of opportunity with current processes to increase collectability and reduce bad debt
Setting and meeting KPIs across all RCM functions, and executing strategic initiatives based upon business need
Implementation of internal controls and processes to support growth at scale, supporting SOX and internal control reporting (GRC)
Cultivating a culture of compassion, empathy and approachability within the team
Supporting the team’s career goals and development through consistent feedback, training, and coaching

About the team
Our Revenue Cycle team is a collaborative, forward-thinking group dedicated to supporting One Medical's growth and financial health. We value innovation, continuous improvement, and creating meaningful impact in healthcare financial management.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 5+ years experience Healthcare Revenue Cycle Management
- 3+ years managing a team of managers/individual contributors within Revenue Cycle
- Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams
- In-depth knowledge of medical billing processes, healthcare regulations, and compliance requirements
- Strong understanding of healthcare information systems and billing software
- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
- Strong understanding of complex revenue cycle systems and process improvement to deliver end to end results.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Certified Professional Coder certification
- CRCR which is through HFMA
- Advanced experience with G-Suite, Tableau, and SQL
- Experience in multi-revenue stream healthcare organizations
- Advanced data visualization and analytics skills
- Master's degree in Business or Healthcare Administration

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $125,200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $207,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
