Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Physics or equivalent practical experience.
- 1 year of experience working in a hardware test technical environment.
Preferred qualifications:
- Master's degree or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, or a related field.
- Experience with Linux or other Unix operating systems and shell scripts.
- Experience in more than one discipline related to hardware test, hardware qualification, and manufacturing (e.g., signal integrity, power circuit testing, optical testing, network testing, scripting, and hardware test execution automation using Python.).
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings such as schematics, datasheets, and written work instructions.
- Understanding of computer systems: physical, functional, logical, mechanical, electrical, software, thermal etc.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to coordinate and manage the needs of multiple lab users.

As a Hardware Test Engineer, you will be supporting a team of hardware design, test, and qualification engineers who are responsible for prototype bring-up, validation, qualification, and failure analysis of server-related technologies such as CPU, Double Data Rate memory, storages and high-speed interconnects. You will also be responsible for liaison between Hardware engineering teams and the lab team to ensure lab resources are accounted for and to ensure we are ‘lab-ready’ for new products entering the Research and Development (R&D) labs or sustaining efforts. In addition you will help to manage lab budget, hiring, performance management, and the well-being of the team as well as ensuring the labs are well organized and providing a safe working environment.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $105,000-$151,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
- Support hardware prototype bring up and qualification testing activities by developing Python automation test script to facilitate system performance regression testing and failure reproduction.
- Design network, power and cooling infrastructure for high and medium touched labs with remote control functionality.
- Drive development of software and infrastructure required for managing a fleet of test systems to avoid manual configuration and test execution. Develop quality data collection systems and visualization of the data.
- Provide integrated software to synchronize test execution on Device-under-Test (DUT) with external smart measurement instrumentation.
- Support a team of hardware designers, qualification and test engineers, on project planning within hardware development labs, and ensure adequate resources are met as required.
