The Device Services Tracking Team (DSTT) is responsible for managing, tracking and globally distributing pre-released, prototype devices for internal customers across Amazon Devices and Services, including Kindle, Echo, Alexa, FireTV, Ring, and Kuiper. They collaborate with Program Managers, Contract Manufacturers, and development teams to plan, allocate and process thousands of prototype devices every month. The team is seeking an experienced Program Manager to help scale operations, drive innovation, strengthen stakeholder relationships, and raise the bar for device distribution and logistics.
Key job responsibilities
As a Program Manager on the Device Services Tracking team, you will be responsible for delivering prototype devices to customers as quickly, securely, and efficiently as possible. Specifically, this includes:
> Global distribution and logistics of pre-released, prototype devices for Amazon’s Devices and Services
> Utilization of program management tools to process devices, manage inventory, conduct audits, and streamline operations
> Collaboration with cross functional teams to manage workflows (drive demand, establish priorities, and align delivery expectations)
> Troubleshooting and resolving issues related to tool usage, user permissions, device transfers, and database administration
> Partnering with software development engineers to define and test feature enhancements for internal tools that support device distribution and logistics
> Occasionally travel to US and international sites (typically less than once per quarter)
- Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, operations, supply chain, transportation logistics
- 3+ years of program or project management experience
- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
- Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams
- Experience building processes, project management, and schedules
- Experience in complex problem solving, and working in a tight schedule environment
- Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) at an advanced level and SQL
- Experience working with teams across APAC region
- Experience working with large data sets, programming in SQL, and/or using AI to automate processes and drive efficiencies
- Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams
- Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization
- Demonstrated ability to deliver results in a fast-paced, dynamic, multi-project, multi-customer environment

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $66,800/year in our lowest geographic market up to $142,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
