You'll partner with our Performance and Brand Marketing team to provide strategic guidance for short and long-term investment decisions, develop tools to surface key analytical insights from large datasets, drive projects that improve our scale and efficiency, and manage financial controllership. Key job responsibilities
The Marketing Sr Financial Analyst has the following responsibilities:
• Support strategic financial planning by building and maintaining detailed models for marketing initiatives and spend forecasting across channels
• Develop and automate comprehensive performance reporting, utilizing AI-powered analytics to surface insights on marketing effectiveness and campaign performance
• Collaborate with marketing teams to understand business needs, provide financial analysis, and support data-driven decision making
• Execute monthly and quarterly budgeting processes, track variances, and ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures
• Identify and implement process improvements across financial operations, with focus on automating routine tasks and enhancing reporting efficiency

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 3+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience
- 4+ years of Accounts Receivable or Account Payable experience
- 4+ years of applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses experience
- 4+ years of creating process improvements with automation and analysis experience
- 4+ years of identifying, leading, and executing opportunities to improve, automate, standardize or simplify finance or business tools and processes experience
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, statistics or business, or Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of quantitative role (engineering, process re-engineering, quality assurance) experience
- Six Sigma Black Belt
- Experience with advanced use of SQL for data mining and business intelligence
- Experience as a lean sensei, or experience working as a Quality Assurance Engineer

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- 4+ years of participating in continuous improvement projects in your team to scale and improve controllership with measurable results experience
- MBA, or CPA
- Knowledge of Tableau
- Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards)

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $60,200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $128,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
