Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages (C, C++, Java, or Go).
  • 2 years of experience with developing large-scale infrastructure, distributed systems or networks, or experience with compute technologies, storage or hardware architecture.
  • Experience with API Development and Test Design.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical fields.
  • Experience delivering complex technical projects through the full project lifecycle.
  • Experience in data structures, algorithms, multi-threading and complexity analysis.
  • Experience with C++.
  • Understanding of Public Cloud services, with a focus on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

One Platform is the standard Google Application programming interface (API) platform for creating, managing, securing, and consuming APIs and services across organizations. It is used by Google APIs, Cloud APIs, Cloud Endpoints, and API Gateway. This platform provides a wide range of features to service consumers and service producers, including authentication, authorization, auditing, rate limiting, analytics, billing, logging, monitoring and policy enforcement.

In this role, you will provide a user-friendly API Platform that empowers both first-party and third-party customers to effortlessly build, operate, and consume APIs, services, and policies across all Cloud environments, offering seamless scalability, built-in reliability, enhanced security, and consistent compliance governance.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $141,000-$202,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Design and implement key API platform features with high reliability.
  • Integrate with GCP services in a scalable fashion.
  • Provide power key for google teams (Vertex AI, Cloud Spanner etc) with platform support and accelerate their business.
  • Continuously contribute to product excellence through testing, automation and experiments.
