  • Experience with Data Analysis, Test Automation, and Failure Diagnosis.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical field.
  • 3 years of experience working in a changing organization.
  • Experience with C++, Python, Diagnostics, Network Diagnostics.

The Platforms Infrastructure Engineering (PIE) Core Services and Capacity Assurance team is responsible for delivering the tools and systems that manage the data center machine throughout its service lifetime. The team develops the diagnostic tests and repair strategies to ensure machines are healthy and ready to serve, including software installation, hardware health testing, and machine management. The team also validates machine health at the time of manufacture and deployment, ensuring all hardware is properly configured and defect-free.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $197,000-$291,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Manage the development of automation, processes, and diagnostics to enable the installation, configuration, testing, and management of new data center hardware.
  • Develop new product test solutions, work with the hardware and software partner teams to ensure that the data center automated diagnosis and repair systems are working and integrated properly with the signals generated from test infrastructure and diagnostics.
  • Develop software that executes in systems in parallel and develop the data insights required to analyze the result sets, and optimize repair strategies for fault coverage and fault isolation. 
  • Ensure that new hardware platforms turn up smoothly from manufacturing to data centers.
  • Travel up to 50% of the time as needed.
