Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, C, C++, Java, JavaScript).
  • 3 years of experience in a technical leadership role; overseeing projects, with 2 years of experience in a people management, supervision/team leadership role.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or a related technical field.
  • 3 years of experience working in a cross-functional organization.
  • Experience in a leadership role focused on large-scale data processing.
  • Experience in managing motivated teams of Google Cloud Marketplace software engineers.
  • Experience leading projects that will build and maintain the disbursement and transaction processing stack, hiring and growing talent and encouraging team well-being, and developing teams to be agile, reprioritizing projects as needed.

We empower partners of all sizes to build businesses on Google Cloud. We also help Google Cloud customers start their development using our catalog of high-quality simple to use software products. The Producer Business Integration team within Google Cloud Marketplace provides capabilities for onboarding partners/sellers/ISVs, handling financial flows and generating reports for partners and internal consumption. We also interact with partners frequently and get direct feedback from the those who use what we build.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $197,000-$291,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Manage a team of software engineers in Google Cloud Marketplace (within the Business Integration area).
  • Oversee the software quality of your team's domain.
  • Provide technical thought leadership on complicated and ambiguous projects and bugs.
  • Develop and grow talent through hiring, mentoring, and coaching engineers, and allow them room to grow by guiding them towards testing projects and leadership opportunities.
