Minimum qualifications:

Preferred qualifications:

  • 5 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.
  • Experience in data modeling, trend analysis, statistics, forecasting, or business insights.
  • Experience in customer service with a focus on experience, process improvement, and operations tool development.
  • Experience in Python or SQL for use in data analysis and manipulation.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to influence stakeholders internally and externally.

As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you’ll use your technical expertise to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. You’ll work with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. You're equally comfortable explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical tradeoffs in product development with engineers.

As a Technical Program Manager, you will lead multi-disciplinary engineering projects using engineering knowledge. You plan requirements with internal customers and usher projects through the entire project lifecycle. This includes managing project schedules, identifying risks and communicating them to project stakeholders. You will explain the team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical trade-offs in product development with engineers. You will manage projects of various size and scope, identifying future opportunities, improving processes, and driving the technical directions of programs.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $156,000-$229,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Lead the onboarding of external cloud customers onto Google Cloud Storage, and support launches of features and products from a capacity and cost standpoint.
  • Unblock scaling of AI/ML workloads onto Google Cloud Storage through pre-deployment, runways, non-linear translation functions, and dynamic attach rates.
  • Leverage data analysis to identify trends and correlations to develop insights that can improve processes and help make decisions.
  • Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to understand the business pipeline, customer workloads and load parameters, and integrate this information into the capacity planning lifecycle.
  • Drive the assessment of Compute, Storage, and Network capacity required to onboard and scale customer workloads while improving the overall customer experience.
