Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 4 years of experience in management consulting, business strategy, investment banking, private equity, or corporate advisory, or 2 years of experience with an advanced degree.
  • Experience in preparing and presenting to audiences (e.g., writing content outline, slide creation, data visualization, and delivery to executive audiences).
  • Experience in spreadsheet modeling (e.g., transaction structures, detailed scenario forecasting, program performance tracking, market sizings, etc.).

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in the entertainment and sports industries.
  • Experience with database querying, dashboard creation, and SQL coding and analysis.
  • Ability to communicate and influence effectively by presenting data/conclusions in a compelling way.
  • Distinctive problem-solving and analytical skills and impeccable business judgment.
  • Expertise with ad-supported and subscription business models.

The YouTube Connected TV ('CTV') Product Activation team supports the CTV partnership & product strategies globally. As a Global Product Activation Manager, you’ll focus on supporting the partnership/product teams and cross-functional business line owners on strategic business decision analysis, program management, agreement and special project support, business planning and operations, product go-to-market strategies and product feedback reporting. This role will specifically focus on our global cultural moments strategy, including content acquisition and global program management for major events.

Succeeding requires being an expert in YouTube’s business models and proactively identifying/assessing/actioning strategic areas of opportunity. You will work with a cross-functional group of stakeholders and develop trusted relationships to align on and execute priorities.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $118,000-$170,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Work cross-functionally with PM, Content Partnerships, Engineering, Marketing, PR, Scaled Education, and Ops teams to shape product strategy, acquire content, craft go-to-market strategy, comms and readiness for new products and synthesize global market feedback.
  • Provide strategic insights and lead continuous product and operational excellence efforts at YouTube, working closely with Business, Product, and Engineering teams.
  • Execute sophisticated quantitative analyses and advanced modeling that translates data into actionable insights including: product/program data analysis, agreement or business scenario analyses, dashboarding, and deck building.
  • Coordinate and track progress on key programs, work streams and team-wide annual and quarterly objectives.
  • Partner with global, cross-functional YouTube and Google teams on YouTube CTV business initiatives (e.g., annual strategy, deal execution, performance tracking).
