Trust & Safety team members are tasked with identifying and taking on the biggest problems that challenge the safety and integrity of our products. They use technical know-how, excellent problem-solving skills, user insights, and proactive communication to protect users and our partners from abuse across Google products like Search, Maps, Gmail, and Google Ads. We partner with teams across the company, including our extended workforce, to build trusted and safe experiences.

In this role, you will support the dynamic Google Play Apps & Games business by working with a portfolio of important app developers as they navigate Play policy compliance. You will be responsible for ensuring that marquee titles maintain policy compliance as they evolve, so they are enabled to provide the best experience to Play store users. This will require you to master knowledge of the Play Console Policy Center, to carefully review app content, make sound decisions, and communicate clearly with third-party developers.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $90,500-$130,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate excellence in determining how well apps comply with Google Play policies.
  • Review the content of apps and in-app experience, when developers submit updates to the apps hosted in the Play store.
  • Make sound logical decisions about how to resolve issues with developers, even under time constraints. Create meaningful business partnerships by providing clear and helpful communications to developers.
  • Find ways to help Google and third-party developers accomplish their business goals while making and executing resolution plans that maximize for ensuring the best Play store user experience.
  • Work independently to manage your portfolio of developers, but also work as a team to optimize the App review and resolution processes.
