Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
6 years of experience in power management or power design/methodology.
6 years of experience in development, testing, and deployment for Android BSP.
Experience in system modeling and performance optimization.
Experience with Embedded Processors.
Preferred qualifications:
Experience with mobile phone hardware subsystems, including application processor, multimedia, GPU, modem and wi-fi.
Experience with improving software for power and performance improvements.
Knowledge of embedded software system design.
Knowledge of Linux kernel and Android system.
Excellent leadership, communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities
Work with cross-functional hardware and software teams to model power consumption.
Analyze and improve the software running across the key components of the chipset SoC like CPU, GPU, Memory Subsystem and Connectivity.
Debug and resolve battery drain issues.
Collaborate with Android app teams across Google to help them improve power.
Develop tools and tests for validating and monitoring power consumption.
