DESCRIPTION

Amazon Web Services (AWS) Media Services provides advanced media services, including encoding, transcoding, acquisition, distribution, monetization, personalization and augmentation. We are an integral part of delivering media and entertainment to the worlds largest events and audiences. We support technology developed by pioneers such as Elemental and Twitch to deliver immersive, interactive, and engaging video experiences at scale anywhere, anytime, on any device.

The Go-To-Market-Specialist (GTMS) will be responsible for defining, building, and deploying scalable programs and specific go-to-market strategies that drive the acceleration of customer adoption and support sales activities for our customers and partners. The Edge Media Services GTMS will facilitate the enablement of business development, sales, and solution architecture with specific customer centric value propositions. They will act as the voice of the customer/partner, relaying requirements to the product management and development teams. The GTMS will be a part of a global team working closely with other business development, sales, marketing, and partner teams. This position will also work across domains to include adjacent services like content delivery (CloudFront), application acceleration, networking/hybrid edge, security, and others to drive vision around solutions to common challenges, use cases, and outcomes that help customers innovate, simplify and execute media workflows in the AWS cloud.

Key job responsibilities
In this role we are seeking expertise and experience in Media monetization and advertising workflows.
Experience with Elemental Media Package, Elemental Media Tailor, and advertising/monetization ecosytem partners is highly desireable.

The GTM function creates and executes awareness and demand generation campaigns to educate and enable our field sellers to successfully engage customers. GTM's create collateral, sales plays, and repeatable/scalable motions.
GTM's foster interest and demand for our services with innovative promotional ideas, interactive 1:1 and 1:many events and sessions, marketing outreach, email campaigns, and other means.
GTM's track important metrics about sales funnel activity, campaign engagement, sales wins, and other impacts of our activities.
GTM's interact frequently with Product & Service teams to understand and influence product roadmaps, feature requirements, pricing and commercial terms and provide voice of the customer/field inputs.
GTM's should be creative, innovative self-starters that bring subject matter and industry knowledge to bear on creating growth for our services.

Specialists own the end-to-end go-to-market strategy for their respective technology domains, providing the business and technical expertise to help our customers succeed. Partner teams own the strategy, recruiting, development, and growth of our key technology and consulting partners. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 5+ years of developing, negotiating and executing business agreements experience
- 5+ years of professional or military experience
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience developing strategies that influence leadership decisions at the organizational level
- Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Experience interpreting data and making business recommendations
- Experience identifying, negotiating, and executing complex legal agreements

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $133,200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $220,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
