Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of experience in program or project management.
  • 8 years of experience in a business operations, program management, or similar role within a technical or engineering environment.
  • Experience managing multiple stakeholders and leading cross-functional or cross-team projects and programs.
  • Experience defining business requirements and driving operational efficiency (e.g., business strategy, data analysis, metrics and insights, process improvements, business acumen).

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in computer science, networking, or engineering, or practical experience in a technical environment.
  • Experience with organizational effectiveness and change management best practices.
  • Experience collaborating the development of new software tools and process-based solutions.
  • Experience in developing recommendations and collaboratig key decisions across business leadership and cross-functional stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to work comfortably at high velocity in dynamic and ambiguous environments.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, documentation and presentation skills, including executive level communication and visual representations of data.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $174,000-$258,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Lead initiatives to solve business tests across multiple functions and levels in the organization, drive change, influence decision-making, and lead adoption of key business processes.
  • Translate business needs into clear and measurable objectives and actionable processes/programs, analyze organizational and operational data to identify opportunities for improvement and increase cross-functional alignment.
  • Define and measure performance on key processes and success criteria, and establish necessary program governance, to enable business execution and efficiency.
  • Identify and collect data to produce actionable business insights and recommendations for executive leadership, run ongoing and ad-hoc analyses in support of GEN business objectives and operational effectiveness, and as input to key planning and business operations processes.
  • Collaborate effectively with partners and stakeholders across Google, represent GEN’s business needs and influence software and process development decisions.
