Join our dynamic team and play a pivotal role in managing the financial backbone of Prime Video's exciting global sports portfolio.

You'll be the financial architect behind Prime Video's innovative sports content, partnering closely with our Sports Production team to deliver exceptional value. Your strategic insights and analytical expertise will help shape the financial landscape of major sporting events, from Thursday Night Football and NBA to UEFA Champions League.

This position contributes to the management of the production finance functions over the life-cycle of live event productions from launch through post production. The candidate must operate in a fast-paced, global, results-oriented environment, and have the ability to influence the decisions of business leaders through effective verbal and written communication, logical reasoning, and the presentation of alternatives.

The role requires a self-starter, who is able to work effectively autonomously and drive projects with the team and cross-functionally with other teams including Production, Finance, and Accounting.


Key job responsibilities

- Financial Management: Develop and manage budgets for live sports event productions, tracking costs and forecasting financial opportunities
- Payroll Coordination: Oversee production personnel onboarding and payroll processing
- Reporting Excellence: Prepare comprehensive financial reporting packages for multiple teams
- Strategic Vendor Management: Serve as the primary contact for spending, transactions, and vendor relationships
- Process Innovation: Design and develop scalable financial processes and systems to support business growth

About the team

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 3+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, or a related analytical field (e.g., engineering, math, computer science)
- 2+ years of creating process improvements with automation and analysis experience

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- 4+ years of participating in continuous improvement projects in your team to scale and improve controllership with measurable results experience
- MBA, or CPA
- Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards)
- Industry experience in studios production finance or sports production finance preferred

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $60,200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $128,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
