Amazon MGM Studios Distribution (AMSD) is seeking a Physical Home Entertainment Manager. This position will be responsible for the operational release planning and creative asset management for the US and Canada physical home entertainment business across the Amazon MGM Studios film and TV portfolio. This role will lead day-to-day physical operations with touch points to internal creative, servicing, and legal teams and be the key operational contact for AMSD’s 3P distribution partner.
Key job responsibilities
Lead external distributor communications to align on optimal physical home entertainment release dates and SKU configurations in alignment with AMSD’s overall distribution strategy.
Responsible for overall physical home entertainment creative and marketing asset deliverables, including but not limited to title metadata, key art, imagery, credit obligations, etc. to AMSD’s distribution partners.
Responsible for developing physical home entertainment SOPs to optimize and scale distribution and ensure accurate tracking of assets, dates and distribution patterns.
Subject matter expert for physical home entertainment. Responsible for leading Amazon MGM Studios distribution vendor transition in the US and Canada.
A day in the life
Lead the day-to-day engagement with internal creative, operations and servicing teams to ensure asset readiness to support the physical home entertainment release.
Primary operational and creative point of contact for physical distribution partners in the US and Canada.
Provide guidance for local territory physical home entertainment distribution teams to ensure a cohesive global release strategy.
About the team
Amazon MGM Studios Distribution oversees the licensing of Amazon Studio’s titles, as well as MGM new release and library movies and series such as film franchises James Bond, Rocky and Creed, and series The Handmaid’s Tale, Vikings, and Fargo.
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or equivalent experience.
5+ years experience in Physical Home Entertainment operations and distributions.
Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills to manage multiple concurrent projects, stakeholders and vendors.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills across all levels and functions within the organization.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $74,200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $158,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
