This Field Applications Engineering role is for a specialist in system design, networking, and leader to our customers who are working to deliver world class datacenter platforms and AI solutions.
NVIDIA is seeking an outstanding FAE with a focus on datacenter system and networking design and manufacturing for AI/HPC computing. Your primary responsibilities will be technical engagement for OEM networking design-in and integration into large datacenter deployments of NVIDIA AI computing systems. Your role will involve working across functions within our organizations while also ensuring a positive experience for external customers.
What you’ll be doing:
Be a technical specialist on datacenter and networking products directly supporting sales account managers, and our partners engineering and manufacturing teams.
Solving complex hardware and deployment issues
Provide onsite support for large datacenter manufacturing and deployment of NVIDIA AI solutions.
Actively establish the technical relationship with our customer’s engineers, management, and architects.
Identify customer architectures and key product requirements in the enterprise AI market.
Provide technical and sales training to the direct sales team and channel partners.
Establish strong relationships and communication channels with internal teams.
What we need to see:
BS or MS in Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent experience).
8+ years of work-related experience in the high-tech electronics industry in a system design role or technical customer support role.
In-depth knowledge of servers, storage systems, network devices, and other data center hardware
Capable of working in a constantly evolving environment without losing focus.
Ability to multitask effectively in a multifaceted environment.
Expert analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong time-management and organization skills for coordinating multiple initiatives, priorities, and implementations of new technology and products into very sophisticated projects.
Strong written and oral communication skills in English with the ability to effectively collaborate with management and engineering.
Ways to stand out from the crowd:
In-depth knowledge of enterprise server design and management
Experience with large-scale rollouts of datacenter equipment.
Networking knowledge -- TCP/IP, RDMA, RoCE, NICs, Switches, etc.
Embedded Linux System, APIs, and similar embedded OS knowledge.
Experience working with OEMs in the enterprise, government, and large datacenter deployments.
