Azure Core Infrastructure Efficiency team is central to making Azure the most efficient cloud platform. We work closely with the Azure Core System Research Group to find improvements in power, cooling, and space usage continuously driving efficiency to support Azure’s tremendous growth.
As a member of our team, you will be working with power control systems, live telemetry streams, and large datasets to run analyses and make decisions on dynamic data center power control. You will work closely with other teams on AI-driven prediction modeling for power and cooling analysis and optimizing infrastructure for GPU-intensive workloads.
You will work closely with experienced engineers to contribute to the safety and efficiency of servers, including GPUs power AI workloads, in our datacenters, while improving your technical skills and understanding of large-scale systems. Software Engineering IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $119,800 - $234,700 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $158,400 - $258,000 per year.
