We're seeking a Senior Product Manager - Tech to join our dynamic team at Amazon. This role sits at the critical intersection of technical innovation and product management execution, requiring both deep technical acumen and exceptional leadership capabilities.

1. Product Strategy & Vision
- Define product vision and strategy
- Create and maintain product roadmap
- Identify market opportunities

Technical Leadership
- Write detailed technical requirements
- Partner with engineering on feasibility
- Understand technical architecture
- Make technology stack decisions
- Balance technical debt vs. new features

Data-Driven Decision Making
- Define and track key metrics
- Analyze customer behavior
- Conduct A/B testing
- Use data to inform product decisions
- Measure product performance

Stakeholder Management
- Work with engineering teams
- Align with business leadership
- Engage with customers
- Coordinate with UX/design
- Partner with marketing/sales

Execution & Delivery
- Prioritize product backlog
- Write product requirements docs (PRDs)
- Manage sprint planning
- Drive product launches
- Monitor product health


A day in the life
Sr. Product Manager-Techs at Amazon drive product strategy and execution by working closely with engineering teams, stakeholders, and customers. Daily activities include leading stand-ups, writing PRDs, analyzing data, and making critical product decisions. The role focuses on solving customer problems while balancing technical feasibility and business value. Key responsibilities involve feature prioritization, stakeholder management, and data-driven decision making. Success requires strong technical understanding, product sense, and strategic thinking. The PM III must effectively balance customer needs, technical constraints, and business goals while driving innovation and maintaining product quality.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 5+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
- Experience with end to end product delivery
- Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product
- Experience managing technical products or online services
- Experience in representing and advocating for a variety of critical customers and stakeholders during executive-level prioritization and planning
- Are you a US Military Veteran?

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Experience in using analytical tools, such as Tableau, Qlikview, QuickSight
- Experience in building and driving adoption of new tools

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $136,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $235,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
