We're seeking a Senior Program Manager to join our dynamic team at Amazon. This role sits at the critical intersection of technical innovation and program execution, requiring both deep technical acumen and exceptional leadership capabilities.

A day in the life
Sr. PMs at Amazon lead complex initiatives by coordinating across multiple engineering teams, product managers, and senior stakeholders. Daily activities include running stand-ups, managing program timelines, and solving technical and operational challenges. The role focuses on ensuring reliability, managing debt, and driving strategic initiatives while balancing competing priorities. Key responsibilities involve stakeholder management, risk mitigation, and resource allocation. Success requires strong technical judgment, effective communication, and leadership skills. Sr. PMs must navigate both immediate operational needs and long-term strategic goals while maintaining program momentum and meeting business objectives.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 5+ years of program or project management experience
- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
- Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- 2+ years of driving process improvements experience
- Master's degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $104,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
