At Amazon's Advertising Trust team, we're seeking a innovative Principal Technical Program Manager to transform how we support our advertising partners. This strategic role sits at the critical intersection of advertising policy, customer experience, and operational excellence. As a key member of the Tech leadership team, you'll help shape our direction and advance Amazon Ads Trust mission through thoughtful planning and precise execution.

Key job responsibilities
The ideal candidate will bring strong technical and functional expertise to bridge our engineering, product, science organizations, and business operations. You'll develop innovative cross-functional solutions that enable Advertising Policy and Moderation at scale. This high-impact position requires expertise in both waterfall and agile methodologies, excellent communication skills, and the ability to bring clarity to ambiguous situations. Your proven track record in delivering large-scale programs will be essential in influencing the direction of Amazon's advertising moderation systems.

A day in the life
• Partner with leadership to develop strategic initiatives and technical roadmaps
• Drive complex programs across multiple teams from planning to launch
• Maintain clear communication with all stakeholders through regular updates
• Track program health, manage risks, and coordinate changes across teams
• Define and monitor key success metrics
• Navigate challenges creatively to keep initiatives moving forward
• Lead cross-functional meetings and strategic planning sessions

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 10+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience
- 7+ years of hands-on work managing complex technology projects experience
- 7+ years of technical product or program management experience
- 5+ years of software development experience
- Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules
- Experience designing or architecting (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems
- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- 8+ years of hands-on work managing complex technology projects experience
- Experience managing projects across cross functional teams, building sustainable processes and coordinating release schedules
- Experience in architectural design or system design independent of an architect

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $159,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $275,300/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
