We are now looking for a Service Demand Planner in our Santa Clara Office! As the Service Demand Planner, you will be a key part of the Service Operations team responsible for maintaining our service planning tool (Prophet by Baxter). The demand plan is critical link between our customers repair needs over time and our supply chain that supports them over the entire lifecycle of their mission critical products. The Service Supply Chain Planning team is responsible for delivering best in class service by having the right parts at the right place at the right time across our vast global distribution network. What you'll be doing:
Manage and maintain all system parameters including contracts, part numbers, bills of material, part chaining, material/supplier data relationships so they are set up correctly and in a timely manner.
Actively manage inventory shortages and excess, minimum stock levels, demand forecasts and monitor key performance metrics for monthly management review.
Help develop stocking and distribution strategy for new install bases by site and/or country.

You'll work with the program managers & engineers to develop ramp plans for products from early-stage sampling to production. You will coordinate the transition plan of product revisions based on customer qualification schedules and supply availability.
Supporting business improvement program
Provide analytic and systems support for the Service Planning team
Provide Last Time Buy requirements as needed to cover demand through end of service
What we need to see from you:
8+ years of working experience in the service demand planning field
Baxter planning expertise is a MUST.
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Computer Science, Mathematics, Economics or relevant areas or equivalent experience.
Strong communication, problem-solving, teamwork, organizational, and quantitative skills - Proven track record to document, automate and improve processes and inspire changes cross-functionally to get the results.
Proficiency in business software applications such as Microsoft Office, Excel, MRP – Excellent analytical skills and hands-on with excel to analyze and manipulate data - formulas, pivot tables. Ability to write excels macros is a plus.
Language: Excellent English skills on reading, writing, speaking, and listening
Personality: highly organized, detailed orientated, a self-starter and collaborator with a strong sense of ownership.
Direct experience with service operations, spares parts planning and customer support.
Possess a start-up mentality; proactive in driving actions to support the business and willing to take on additional responsibilities as the business grows.
Ways for you to stand out from the crowd:
Ability to develop forecasted failure demand leveraging all available inputs (sales forecasts, install base data, annual failure rates, etc) to output a robust and accurate demand plan for our supply planning team execute to.
To demonstrate consistently the ability to drive solutions to real world operational problems that hinder our ability to hit the goals.
Capability to independently analyze and understand problems at hand and derive meaningful plans for improvement and influence management decisions.
Direct experience with build-to-order and configure-to-order products and associated supply-chain. Experience in service logistics and operations support in a fast-paced environment.
Results oriented, analytical, curious, and self-motivated.

The base salary range is 128,000 USD - 201,250 USD. Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions.You will also be eligible for equity and benefits. NVIDIA accepts applications on an ongoing basis.
