The Amazon Web Services Professional Services (ProServe) team is seeking a Senior Advisory Consultant to shape and transform how enterprises leverage cloud technology. This strategic role will influence leaders across industries, market segments, and technical domains to drive transformative business outcomes. As a Senior-level advisor, you will be responsible for identifying patterns across customers, developing new architectural patterns, and creating innovative capabilities that define the future of cloud adoption.
We’re hiring experienced consultants with a background in warehousing, fulfillment, and the larger Supply Chain landscape to help our enterprise customers understand, plan and implement best practices and technologies to design, operate, and transform their warehousing and fulfillment networks. Our consultants will deliver proof-of-concept projects, re-usable artifacts, reference architectures, and lead implementation projects to assist some of the world’s leading enterprises transform their warehousing and fulfillment networks using the power of the AWS platform.
The AWS Professional Services organization is a global team of experts that help customers realize their desired business outcomes when using the AWS Cloud. We work together with customer teams and the AWS Partner Network (APN) to execute enterprise cloud computing initiatives. Our team provides assistance through a collection of offerings which help customers achieve specific outcomes related to enterprise cloud adoption. We also deliver focused guidance through our global specialty practices, which cover a variety of solutions, technologies, and industries.
Key job responsibilities
Expertise - Collaborate with AWS field sales, pre-sales to help partners and customers learn how to leverage AWS Offerings, solutions, assets, technologies, and advisory consulting.
Solutions – Ideate, create, launch, incubate, and scale new solutions as a part of packaged Offerings in the area of Supply Chain and with focus on the warehousing and fulfillment space.
Solutions – Creation and delivery of sales material, delivery documentation, training material, and other artifacts and content as needed to support sales and delivery teams.
Delivery – Define and deliver on-site Professional Services engagements with partners and customers. This includes participating in pre-sales on-site visits, understanding customer requirements, proposing and delivering packaged offerings, and delivering custom solution engagements, specifically focused on the Supply Chain with emphasis on warehousing and fulfillment.
Delivery - Engagements include travel including on-site visits to customer locations in order to assess, analyze, and generally provide deep subject matter expertise in both functional and technical aspects of warehousing and fulfillment. This will require the ability to gain customer trust by bringing deep experience in various aspects of Supply Chain, and the ability to align with customers on opportunity areas which will bring them value through delivery of AWS ProServe packaged Offerings.

- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Engineering, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in cloud architecture and implementation
- 10+ years of experience in supply chain management positions including operations management, engineering, IT/Business IT, solutions design, continuous improvement, or business development
- Experience implementing at least 3 supply chain optimization projects involving areas such as order management, forecasting, transportation, logistics, assortment planning, fulfillment, or returns processing
- Experience evaluating and implementing at least 1 emerging technology solution for supply chain management such as AI/ML applications, automated storage solutions, or robotics/automation systems
- Supply Chain, Information Systems, or Industrial Engineering background required; Master’s degree desired.
- Demonstrated proficiency with at least 2 supply chain management systems such as WMS, YMS, LMS, OMS, or TMS
- Professional Services or Consulting experience in highly-visible customer-facing roles.
- Visible IT Industry thought leadership on relevant topics related to Supply Chain, warehousing, and fulfillment.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
- AWS Professional level certifications (e.g., AWS Certified AI Practitioner, Solutions Architect)

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $138,200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $239,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
