As a Senior Software Engineer in the Host Networking and Hardware Acceleration team, you will contribute to the Azure host networking infrastructure, leading hardware and software co-design efforts to provide reliable and performant networking for Azure hosts. You will also deliver Network Interface Card (NIC) software for artificial intelligence (AI) and other Azure workloads.
An ideal candidate will have a passion for distributed systems, low-level programming, operating system (OS) internals, virtualization, large-scale systems, performant design, and test methodologies. You should also enjoy working on a fast-paced team that owns one of the most impactful services in the world.

Software Engineering IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $119,800 - $234,700 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $158,400 - $258,000 per year.
