DESCRIPTION

The Amazon Key and Ring teams are empowering customers to easily manage access to their homes and businesses. We are seeking a customer-centric product marketing manager to shape our product strategy and drive growth. You will: i) generate deep consumer insights and refine customer personas, ii) champion the voice of the customer in product development, and iii) lead market intelligence and optimize our product portfolio. As a vital team member, you will ensure our product innovations align with customer needs, enhancing satisfaction and market success.

Key job responsibilities
- Create compelling product content: Develop product detail pages (PDP), selling points (PSP), articles, and other content to engage with customers.
- Guide product development: Act as the voice of the customer, ensuring new products and innovations align with customer needs and expectations.
- Understand our customers deeply: Drive consumer insight generation and develop/refine customer personas to inform product and marketing strategies.
- Lead market intelligence: Oversee innovation validation, analyze purchase intent drivers, and optimize our product portfolio and activities.
- Report on product insights: Deliver quarterly reports on product performance, customer satisfaction, and key insights to inform future strategies.

A day in the life
In this role, you'll blend strategic thinking with hands-on execution to shape our product strategy. You’ll work closely with the product, sales, and research teams to gather consumer insights, refine personas, and guide product development. Your day may involve leading market intelligence efforts, validating new innovations, analyzing customer purchase intent, and developing engaging product content. As the voice of the customer, you will be at the heart of our product evolution, driving customer-focused innovations that enhance our portfolio and meet market needs.

About the team
The Amazon Key team sits within the Amazon Devices team alongside Ring and other Home Security teams. Key is a uniquely cross-functional team within Amazon, and often serves as the connective tissue between Smart Home/Devices, Logistics, Operations, and Retail/Shopping. We are the bridge between device management and physical services, and our team indexes highly on ownership and collaboration. We have lots of stakeholders, and we have relentlessly high standards for our high-visibility programs.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 6+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience
- Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
- Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables)
- Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional marketing programs
- Experience communicating results to senior leadership
- Experience using Microsoft Excel to manipulate and analyze data

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Experience creating and executing integrated marketing lead generation campaigns using tactics that include live or virtual events, webinars, email, lead nurture programs, and CRM/sales insights
- Experience with Salesforce and Tableau

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $112,800/year in our lowest geographic market up to $186,500/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
