Are you a data-driven program manager who enjoys diving deep into how community programs are operated? Are you skilled at refactoring programs to optimize the customer experience while also gaining operational efficiencies? Do you enjoy creating frameworks and processes to help scale community programs globally? Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a driven and focused senior program manager to lead auditing, optimization, and scaling of our portfolio of AWS community programs.
This role will sit within our AWS Developer Experience organization. Our goal is to win the hearts and minds of developers around the world by meeting them where they are and providing the right technical education, tools, and resources to enable developer success.
As Sr. Program Manager for community initiatives, you’ll audit the mechanisms and frameworks which power existing AWS community programs. You’ll gather functional requirements from community program owners, while also engaging with external community program members, gathering inputs and feedback to influence how program experiences and benefits are best structured. You’ll then refactor program mechanisms to support better scale, increased operational efficiency, and improved customer experience. Finally, you’ll dive deep into owning program strategy on a net-new community initiative engaging with students and future developers.
