Overview

We’re looking for a talented and motivated Software Engineer, AdTech to join our growing AdTech team. In this role, you'll help design, build, and scale data-driven advertising solutions that power targeting, measurement, optimization, and privacy-compliant delivery across paid media platforms. You’ll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Marketing, Data Science, Privacy, and Engineering to deliver capabilities that fuel our customer acquisition and brand marketing strategies.

Qualifications

Required/Minimum Qualifications 

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, or related technical discipline AND 6+ years technical engineering experience with programming languages including, but not limited to, SQL Java, JavaScript, or Python 
    • OR equivalent experience.
  • Experience with marketing data schemas (e.g., impressions, clicks, conversions).
  • Experience with campaign measurement techniques (incrementality testing, attribution modeling).
  • Experience with cloud platforms.

Additional or Preferred Qualifications 

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 10+ years  technical engineering experience with programming languages including, but not limited to, SQL Java, JavaScript, or Python  
    • OR Master's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 8+ years  technical engineering experience with programming languages including, but not limited to, SQL Java, JavaScript, or Python 
    • OR equivalent experience.

Software Engineering IC5 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $139,900 - $274,800 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $188,000 - $304,200 per year.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop scalable systems to support audience segmentation, activation, and campaign delivery across major AdTech platforms.
  • Build and maintain systems for collecting and delivering publisher signals into paid media ecosystems.
  • Partner with media scientists and analysts to build privacy-resilient measurement and attribution solutions (e.g. lift studies, clean rooms).
  • Integrate and optimize application programming interfaces (APIs) across platforms like conversion APIs (CAPI), Data Hub, and others.
  • Collaborate with privacy, compliance, and security teams to ensure safe and responsible use of customer data.
  • Contribute to architecture decisions and participate in code reviews, design sessions, and system monitoring.
