Bachelor's degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Cognitive Science, Statistics, Psychology, Anthropology, related field, or equivalent practical experience.
10 years of experience in an applied research setting, or similar.
5 years of experience leading design projects and managing people or teams.
Experience in both qualitative and quantitative research methodologies, including research design, data collection, analysis, and synthesis.
Experience partnering with cross-functional teams (Product Management, Design, Engineering) to drive product strategy and execution.
Preferred qualifications:
Master's degree or PhD in Human-Computer Interaction, Cognitive Science, Statistics, Psychology, Anthropology, or related field.
10 years of experience conducting UX research on products and working with executive leadership (e.g., Director level and above).
7 years of experience managing projects, and working in a large, matrixed organization.
Experience working on large-scale consumer products, ideally in the photo/video space.
Experience working with or managing UX Writers, and understanding the impact of content on user experience.
Excellent communication, presentation, and people-management skills.
