Entertainment PXT partners with our Amazon entertainment businesses: Prime Video and Amazon MGM Studios (PVS), Sports, Amazon Music, Amazon Games, Audible, Twitch, Wondery and more. It is an exciting time to be at the forefront of the streaming industry and creator economy that is fueled by creativity, innovation, and technology. My team is looking for a Program Manager to support and lead People eXperience Programs that onboard, develop, and connect Amazonians across the entertainment businesses. This role blends program management excellence with HR knowledge to drive critical work that builds our leadership benches, strengthens our culture, and retains the incredible industry talent driving our success. We are driving towards enabling an environment for our Amazon Entertainment employees where they can find personal growth and satisfaction from doing their best, most meaningful work to delight our customers – and the way we do that within our businesses may be a little different from other parts of Amazon.

Key job responsibilities
• Program ownership and management, across a variety of initiatives
• Experience in Program Management, Event Management, and/or experience in an HR functional area including but not limited to generalist HR, Talent Management, or Recruiting Project Management.
• Experience drafting senior leader communications, design assets, wikis, and design forward internally facing program materials.
• Bias for action, excellent attention to detail, and relentless commitment to follow-through.
• Ability to multi-task and handle multiple projects simultaneously to drive timely results, prioritizing effectively and facilitating action across multiple groups.
• Ability to convey ideas and recommendations in a clear, compelling and succinct way in written and verbal communications.
• Earns trust and maintains key relationships with HR partners to avoid duplication of efforts and drive global engagement on key initiatives.
• Ability to analyze data and understand key people metrics that drive decisions and measure the impact of the work you do.


A day in the life
Visualize this....You head into the office and greet your colleagues who are diving into designing content, prepping for an upcoming leadership summit, brainstorming ways to partner with the business to steward culture, or preparing materials for the next People Day with senior leaders. The energy is high before the next 2 day summit that will host 100 global executives across entertainment. It's the last week of tying up details, reviewing the list of topics such as 'The Future of Entertainment' and 'GenAI Unleashed: the Intersection of Creative and Tech' and your lineup of external speakers is high bar and iconic within the film, tv, and podcast industries. There is much to do for this summit and for the People Days within the business and you know your team will deliver fast and with high excellence. You're energized by experiencing the flywheel of talent identification, placement, development, and growth. It's great to be in a COE with creative HR professionals who laugh, debate, and push hard to insist on the highest standards for the talent who are building the future of entertainment.

About the team
This Program Manager will be part of the Entertainment PXT People Programs Team. Our mission is to design and deliver people programs that empower, inspire, connect, and activate employees across Amazon Entertainment. Through intentional design, continuous feedback, and voice of customer research, we design programs that unlock the strengths and potential of the people who drive our business success. We aim to create an environment where employees can bring their best selves to work every day. Measurement matters - we do not deploy standard metrics to all programs because each was designed to solve a unique problem and we need to ensure that we are solving it!

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 3+ years of program or project management experience
- 3+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience
- Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) at an advanced level and SQL
- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
- Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams
- 3+ years of defining and executing against program timeline & requirements experience

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- 3+ years of driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership experience
- Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization
- Experience building processes, project management, and schedules

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $66,800/year in our lowest geographic market up to $142,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
