Amazon's Center of Excellence for Orchestration (ORCA) is pioneering the next frontier in intelligent process automation through an ambitious transformation into an agentic orchestration platform. We're seeking a Senior Product Manager Tech to spearhead our vision of creating an AI-powered orchestration ecosystem that will revolutionize how Amazon's diverse businesses - from Retail to Digital Services - implement and execute their mission-critical operations. This role sits at the intersection of artificial intelligence and enterprise orchestration, driving the evolution from traditional workflow management to intelligent, self-operating systems.
In this transformative position, you'll lead a team of engineers in reimagining our multi-tenant orchestration platform through the lens of autonomous operations. Your mission will be to architect and deliver an agentic orchestration system that not only manages workflows but actively learns, adapts, and optimizes processes across Amazon's vast business landscape. You'll be instrumental in developing the intelligence layer that will enable our platform to autonomously handle complex decision-making, resource allocation, and process optimization while maintaining the robustness and reliability our customers depend on.
The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in both traditional orchestration systems and emerging AI technologies, with a proven track record of driving large-scale technological transformations. You should possess the technical acumen to understand the complexities of autonomous systems, the strategic vision to guide our platform's evolution, and the leadership skills to align multiple stakeholders around a shared vision. Experience with agent-based architectures, machine learning operations, and enterprise-scale distributed systems is crucial, as is the ability to navigate ambiguity while maintaining clear direction in this rapidly evolving space.
Key job responsibilities

• Deeply understand the technology that underpins our orchestration systems. Collaborate closely with your immediate engineering partners and partner teams to support the long term technology strategy.

• Champion the ideal end-to-end experience for your customers.
• Leverage data and define the success metrics for features or services to track performance, deep-dive on issues and uncover trends and patterns.
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition

- Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product
- Experience managing technical products or online services
- Experience in representing and advocating for a variety of critical customers and stakeholders during executive-level prioritization and planning
- Experience in using analytical tools, such as Tableau, Qlikview, QuickSight
