Amazon Grocery Logistics is looking for a Sr. Program Manager with a delivery record and proven project management experience to own strategic, tactical, and cross-functional programs.
The ideal candidate for this role will need to be comfortable driving business decisions in an ambiguous work environment, interfacing and coordinating with various functional teams both internally and externally, and driving results through both quantitative and qualitative strategies. A successful candidate will be highly analytical, resourceful, customer focused, team oriented, and will have an ability to work with data independently under time constraints to meet deadlines. You will have a proven track record in taking on end-to-end ownership and successfully delivering results in a fast-paced and dynamic business environment. This role will include a mix of long-term strategic projects and short-term tactical tasks.
Key job responsibilities
Designing and modeling new operations processes for developing business needs to prove quality, cost, and scalability goals as critical outputs.
Gathering and analyzing data across inventory health and shrink in partnership with cross functional teams.
Rethinking end to end processes to optimize for waste reduction and efficiency.
Building strong partnership with cross functional stakeholders to understand improvement opportunities.
Analyzing and solving operational barriers with a focus on understanding root causes and driving forward solves.
Leading project teams to plan, organize, and execute complex projects across multiple organizations and stakeholders to enable the launch of new projects and processes.
Innovating to improve customer experience and continuously remove cost from our fulfillment network.
Designing new metrics and enhancing existing metrics to support the future state of the business.
- 5+ years of program or project management experience
- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
- Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
- 2+ years of driving process improvements experience
- Master's degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $104,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
