The successful candidate will be a key part of the Contracts team and will be responsible for Legal agreements in design and construction. This will include the extension of existing facilities and any new sites. The Contract Manager will play an integral role in the development and implementation of the GES facility network infrastructure.
This opportunity combines construction planning, project management, and contract management.
Key job responsibilities
• Provide day-to-day contract administration support for standardized construction contracts, NDA’s, services agreements, statements of work/work orders, proposals and other contract documentation.
• Prepare work orders, work authorization letters, and other contract and process documentation in accordance with industry best practices and corporate risk policies, within the limits of authority delegated by management.
• Ensure appropriate documentation is acquired and entered into corporate databases in a timely manner; conduct analyses and compile reports as required.
• Review invoices for compliance with contract terms and conditions.
• Assist with contract audits.
• Processing and tracking purchase orders
• Build and maintain relationships with internal customers and vendors.
• Ensure compliance with corporate policies and contracting practices as well as Federal, state, and local law by reviewing existing and new regulations; anticipating regulations; enforcing adherence to regulations; and advising management on requirements.
• Supports the Real Estate Legal team with onboarding new Vendors through the Prime process
• Works with the transaction team to ensure process is followed correctly on BTS deals
• Assists in training GES employees with the contracts and invoicing

About the team
A team of 9 Contract Managers overseeing Legal Contracts for all of GES Design and Construction.
• 3+ years in Contracts administration or legal experience
• 3+ years in project coordination field
• 3+ years creating and editing work flows
• Bachelor's Degree in Legal or Business Administration
• 5+ years Microsoft Suite
• Ability to effectively communicate Amazon requirements to various audiences (e.g. senior management, peers, public officials, vendors, etc.)
• Master’s degree in Legal

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $69,700/year in our lowest geographic market up to $155,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
