We are looking for an experienced strategist and go to market leader to support the definition and execution of the Go-to-Market strategy for Small and Medium-sized Businesses (SMB). The vision is to make Amazon Key/Ring the preferred brand for this customer segment across the globe.
This role is inherently cross-functional - this leader will work closely with sales and marketing, engineering, product, design, operations, finance, legal, business development, customer service, PR and executive teams to 1) conduct market researches and identify customer pain points, 2) identify main players in the market and their key strengths, 3) recommend product solutions, 4) define objectives and the go to market plan, 5) setup and own the launch roadmap, 6) track progresses towards goals. The ideal candidate is a motivated and multi-talented individual with experience in strategy definition, go to market, sales channels and market research.
The successful candidate will be highly analytical, resourceful, customer-focused, team player, able to work independently and has a track record of delivering business results under tight timelines. The ideal candidate has a passion for smart home combined with an established track record of earning trust with new technologies. They will be a senior, business & product leader who learns quickly, thinks big, invents and communicates compelling propositions. This leader will demonstrate adaptability in switching perspectives as required from high-level decisions to everyday inspection of business health and progress. They should thrive amidst ambiguity, make high judgement decisions, and be an inspirational leader of teams.
Key job responsibilities
• Develop the go-to-market strategy, business models, and distribution plans to serve SMBs;
• Run customer researches, expert interviews and competitors’ analysis to understand pain points and gaps;
• Work with product and engineers to define the product roadmap for business customers;
• Develop bottom-up operating plans, pricing strategy, and demand forecasts;
• Develop dashboards and weekly mechanisms to review metrics and KPIs;
• Once operational, meet business goals, and deliver a fantastic customer experience;
• Prepare detailed business cases for justification of new opportunities;
• Create buy-in for the product vision both internally and with key external stakeholders;
• Partner with legal, tax and regulatory to engage in business partnerships and local regulatory efforts;
• Launch products to market by working with marketing, public relations, and finance teams;
• Proactively identify and resolve issues that may impair the team’s ability to meet strategic, financial, and technical goals.
- Bachelor's Degree;
- 8+ years of experience in product or program management, product marketing or go to market function;
- Experience in managing complex projects with cross-functional stakeholders; from strategy definition to roadmap execution;
- Demonstrated ability to turn customer needs and pain points into innovative products;
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with demonstrated experience engaging and influencing senior executives;
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to use metrics to back up assumptions and recommendations and to drive actions;
- Proven ability to work comfortably and effectively in an ambiguous environment without close supervision;
- Customer obsessed mindset;
- Owner mentality and a willingness to roll up your sleeves, dive deep and get the job done;
- Fast learner, with analytical mindset and a natural curiosity to measure, test, learn and iterate in order to get the best results possible;
- Verbal and written proficiency in English.
- MBA or Master's degree;
- Experience with SMB (Small Medium Business) customers;
- Experience designing go to market strategies and distribution models;
- Experience working directly with Engineers on product enhancements;
- Experience in project management methodologies, business analysis, or process improvement;
- Experience with security/surveillance industry, market regulations.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $158,400/year in our lowest geographic market up to $262,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
