AWS is seeking a Senior Product Marketing Manager to join our generative AI applications team focused on the Amazon Q index, a centralized RAG data repository that works with Amazon Q Business and Amazon QuickSight to improve generative AI experiences. This role will work within a team structure focused on Information and Content, Research and Analysis, and Apps and Automation pillars, collaborating closely with service teams to unite different products into customer-centric storylines.
As a key team member in this fast growing, exciting space you will have the opportunity to help lead early market development efforts, establish compelling messaging, drive global growth, and help shape the future this AI-powered technology that will have a significant impact on our customers’ businesses. You will partner closely with AWS Executives, Product Managers, Marketing, Sales, and Partner leads.

• You will be part of the team responsible for defining our positioning and messaging to technical and business decision maker personas ers
• You will create the most compelling content to help customers understand the use cases and value propositions
• You will help define the product roadmap strategy
• You will work with AWS customers to understand how they are deploying AWS Solutions
• You will work with executive leadership, at both the strategic and tactical level, to champion bold, creative ideas
• You will articulate complex technical concepts in simple terms
• You will work effectively across AWS with groups such as engineering, marketing, sales, business development, and evangelists to achieve our joint business goals

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 6+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience
- Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
- Experience building, executing, and scaling cross-functional marketing programs
- Experience communicating results to senior leadership
- Experience with customer segmentation, profiling, and targeting

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Bachelor's degree

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $128,600/year in our lowest geographic market up to $212,600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
