This position is part of the AWS Specialist and Partner Organization (ASP). Specialists own the end-to-end go-to-market strategy for their respective technology domains, providing the business and technical expertise to help our customers succeed. Partner teams own the strategy, recruiting, development, and growth of our key technology and consulting partners. Together they provide our customers with the expertise and scale needed to build innovative solutions for their most complex challenges.

Within this role you will pioneer business strategy for the next frontier in enterprise AI - moving beyond simple automation to truly autonomous systems that perceive, decide, and act. Your work will define how we help our strategic accounts adopt AI agents that transform their entire business and industry.
Key job responsibilities
Strategic Business Development
- Identify and develop enterprise opportunities for autonomous agent transformation across industries
- Build executive relationships to understand strategic challenges and position agentic AI solutions
- Create business cases demonstrating ROI of multi-agent ecosystems and autonomous workflows
- Structure commercial agreements and strategic partnerships that accelerate agent adoption
Customer Transformation Leadership
- Partner with C-suite executives to design enterprise-wide agent adoption roadmaps
- Guide customers from pilot implementations to scaled autonomous AI deployments
- Develop success metrics and KPIs that demonstrate business value of agent workflows
- Build referenceable case studies showcasing agent-driven business transformation
Technical Business Strategy
- Translate complex agent architectures (orchestration frameworks, broker patterns, multi-agent collaboration) into compelling business value propositions
- Influence product roadmap based on customer needs for autonomous AI capabilities
- Evangelize Agentic AI vision through executive briefings, industry events, and thought leadership
- Stay current on AI agent trends, competitive landscape, and emerging use cases
Cross-functional Excellence
- Collaborate with customer facing sales and technology teams to ensure technical feasibility meets business requirements
- Partner with AWS service teams to prioritize features based on market demand
- Enable sales teams with agent transformation playbooks and best practices
- Build ecosystem partnerships to expand agent solution capabilities

- 10+ years enterprise technology business development or strategic sales experience
- Proven track record of driving complex digital transformation initiatives
- Experience with AI/ML go-to-market strategies and enterprise adoption
- Bachelor’s degree in business, technology, or equivalent experience
- Exceptional ability to communicate technical concepts to executive audiences
- Experience with autonomous systems, intelligent automation, or agentic AI
- Knowledge of enterprise architecture and system integration challenges
- Track record of building strategic partnerships in emerging technology domains
- Speaking experience at industry events and executive forums
- MBA or advanced degree in relevant field
- Consulting experience with technical practices at Accenture, Deloitte, PWC preferred.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $158,400/year in our lowest geographic market up to $262,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
