Are you passionate about cloud game development and want to help gaming companies transform their remote production capabilities? Amazon Web Services (AWS) has an exciting opportunity for you. We're seeking an experienced and motivated technologist with expertise in cloud-based game development, remote collaboration solutions, and virtual production environments.
As a Sr Specialist Solutions Architect (SA) for Cloud Game Development at AWS, you'll be responsible for helping gaming companies modernize their development infrastructure and transition to cloud-based production environments. You'll work with studios of all sizes to implement secure, scalable remote development solutions that enable global collaboration, reduce costs, and accelerate time-to-market. Your focus will be on architecting solutions for cloud-based development workflows, virtual workstations, real-time collaboration tools, and secure content management systems. You'll provide hands-on architectural guidance for real-life customer projects involving various AWS services and Independent Software Vendor (ISV)/partner solutions and collaborate with cross-Amazon teams to develop outcome-based holistic solutions for strategic opportunities in the games industry.

AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector.
Key job responsibilities
As a Leader, you'll anticipate future trends and identify applications of emerging technologies to enhance game development, operations, and analytics, enabling personalized gaming experiences and effective game solutions for our customers.
* Drive the strategy for game solutions for customers in the games industry.
* Architect and deliver innovative, customer-obsessed solutions leveraging AWS services and partner offerings tailored for the games industry.
* Foster strategic partnerships with key industry players in the games industry, driving thought leadership and shaping industry trends.
* Create high-quality enablement content, including guidance, blogs, demos, POCs, and presentations, to share your expertise in game solutions.
* Engage with customers, partners, and industry events to inspire and educate on the transformative potential of AWS solutions for the games industry.
* Deliver written and spoken communications on complex game development, operations, and analytics subjects, establishing AWS as the public cloud of choice for organizations in the games industry looking to accelerate innovation.
- Bachelor's degree in science, technology, engineering, math, business or equivalent
- Experience leading technical and non-technical transformation project teams with a proven ability to work across broad functional teams
- Strong understanding of game development pipelines and workflows
- PMP certification, or SCRUM/Agile, SAFe certification
- Experience implementing cloud services including migrations and modernization projects or similar

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $138,200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $239,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
