We’re looking for a Principal Product Manager – Technical to lead the strategy, and execution of our supply integrity and inventory quality systems. This role is pivotal in ensuring that every ad opportunity surfaced to our advertising demand meets the highest standards of trust, transparency, and performance.
As a Principal Program Manager Technical in our DSP organization, you will operate at the intersection of risk intelligence, supply path optimization, fraud mitigation, and policy enforcement, working across engineering, data science, and commercial functions to safeguard the integrity of the DSP’s supply.This critical leadership role combines technical expertise with strategic vision to protect and enhance our platform's supply chain, ensuring we deliver the highest quality inventory to our advertising partners. You'll be instrumental in shaping how we detect, prevent, and mitigate various forms of risks while maintaining the integrity of our marketplace.
In this role, you will architect and implement comprehensive supply quality measurement frameworks, lead the technical vision for quality initiatives, and develop automated systems for real-time monitoring and enforcement. You'll be responsible for designing and maintaining risk scoring models, establishing platform-wide KPIs, and driving incident response protocols for supply quality issues. The role requires deep technical leadership in developing machine learning-based solutions for quality prediction, implementing advanced fraud prevention mechanisms, and creating scalable systems that can process billions of daily impressions while maintaining strict quality standards.
Success in this position requires extensive collaboration across the organization, working closely with Supply Partnerships, Engineering, Product, and Operations teams to execute supply quality initiatives. You'll partner with data science teams to develop sophisticated detection models, interface with client-facing teams to address quality concerns, and engage with industry partners and standard-setting organizations to influence best practices. The role demands someone who can navigate complex stakeholder relationships, influence and drive technical excellence across multiple teams while maintaining strong relationships with external partners and vendors.
Key job responsibilities
* Own the end-to-end vision, roadmap, and execution for Amazon DSP-wide supply integrity, including:
* Supply onboarding and vetting
* Real-time inventory risk evaluation
* Chain-of-trust analysis (sellers.json, schain)
* IVT/MFA/Brand Safety detection integration
* Architect DSP-wide standards for acceptable supply, partnering with teams across Amazon DSP.
* Lead cross-functional work-streams that combine signal ingestion, policy automation, and machine learning to classify, score, and filter inventory at scale.
* Drive integration of external and internal signals (e.g., ads.txt, TAG certification, publisher reputation, DomainTools) into DSP’s evaluation engine.
* Collaborate with internal product and infra teams to ensure accurate supply representation, seller-level traceability, and root-cause diagnostics in UI and reporting.
* Define and monitor KPIs that quantify supply trust, auction safety, and performance impact — and iterate based on results.
* Influence product strategy across the broader DSP organization.
- Bachelor's degree
- 8+ years of technical product or program management experience
- 4+ years of end to end product delivery experience
- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
- Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
- Experience working with and influencing senior level stakeholders
- Experience leading engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product
- Experience working directly with Engineers on product enhancements
- Experience in project management methodologies, business analysis, or process improvement
- Proven expertise in RTB mechanics, OpenRTB protocols, supply chain transparency (ads.txt, sellers.json, schain), and inventory classification.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $161,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $279,900/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
