We are now looking for a Silicon Operations NPI Planner in our Santa Clara Office.

What you'll be doing:

  • You will be instrumental in planning and ensuring on-time delivery for engineering samples and builds of new products to various internal and external customers.

  • Planning capacity requirements, handling constraints, material availability and coordinating timely program readiness will be your responsibility to craft optimum engineering build plans.

  • Often times there will be challenges requiring close attention and coordination with various teams including Product Engineering, Operations, Program Management etc. to drive the issues to closure. Your involvement will be significant as the planning person in charge to communicate and resolve such issues impacting delivery schedule.

  • You will monitor the delivery performance against plan and regularly maintain and report various Key Performance Indicators for the team. In addition, you will also perform vital data entry, report generation, and documentation of processes.

  • The team is an integral part of NPI phase, and our responsibilities include, communicating product status, WIP tracking and scheduling activities for various stages in the delivery flow. Your attention to details and dedication to meet planning goals will be essential in this team.

  • At NVIDIA, we constantly strive for improvements. You will provide suggestions to improve NPI planning processes, including tools and reports. We as a team aspire to move the needle and make a difference.

What we need to see:

  • 3+ years of working experience in the semiconductor field - Supply Chain / Program Management / Product Engineering or relevant areas.

  • Bachelors degree in Science or Business Administration or equivalent experience in semiconductor Planning.

  • Good communication, problem-solving, collaboration, interpersonal, and quantitative skills.

  • Proficiency in business software applications such as Microsoft Office, Excel VBA, SAP, Windchill.

  • Excellent English skills on reading, writing, speaking, and listening

  • Highly organized, detailed orientated, a self-starter with a strong sense of ownership, ability to multi-task in dynamic environment.

Ways to stand out from the crowd:

  • Experience in New Products Introduction environment and strong skills in Excel.

  • Proven track record of driving cross-functional team members with interpersonal skills to achieve mutually acceptable solution for any problem on hand.

The base salary range is 72,000 USD - 155,250 USD. Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions.

You will also be eligible for equity and benefits. NVIDIA accepts applications on an ongoing basis.
