The Amazon North America Stores Creative (NASC) Ops team is responsible for delivering bold, performance-driven creative that elevate standards by leveraging innovation, operational excellence, and technology to our customers. We are looking for an analytical, strategic, and experienced Sr. Creative Operations Mgr to join our NASC Ops team. You will be responsible for leading creative budgeting, overseeing supplier & agency relationships, managing contingent workers, reporting key metrics, and optimizing tools & technology integration. You will be partnering with Resourcing Management, Project Management, Tools & System Management and Creative Production Lead to optimize the environment for creative teams to thrive and exceed marketing goals. The ideal candidate will demonstrate ownership, have the highest standard, have excellent communication skills, strong bias for action, have a collaborative spirit, backbone, high capability to think big and capacity to navigate ambiguity.
Key job responsibilities
* Lead creative financial budget development, implementation and management, which include annual planning, monthly & quarterly reviews, cost analysis, and tracking spending
* Prepare and present budget reports to finance and senior management
* Establish KPIs that measure progress towards organizational goals
* Work closely with creative teams, creative project managers, producers, operations manager, marketing partners, senior management and tool manager to collaborate on budget activities, roadmap, prioritization (above the line/below the line), project tiers, resource optimization, as well as strategic initiatives (e.g., AI & Automation)
* Lead partnership with creative agencies, internal global studio, and contingent workers suppliers. Work closely with Procurement team to conduct rate reviews and onboard new agencies
* High-level oversee of contingent workers workflows, classifications, resource model, frameworks and utilization.
* Synthesize creative financial, resourcing data and metrics to support staffing planning needs and business strategy
* Oversee creative and project management tools such as DAM, Airtable, Smartsheet, and Figma with partnership from Tools Operational Manager, ensuring continuous optimization
* Lead and/or support initiatives to establish & optimize mechanisms, audit inefficiencies, ensuring continuous improvements on tools, budgeting, and creative workflows
* Drive adoption of initiatives or new/updated processes with focus on clear communication, targeted training, and ongoing support.

- 6+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience
- Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
- Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables)
- Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional marketing programs
- Experience communicating results to senior leadership
- Bachelors Degree
- MBA
- High proficiency in financial budget management for a marketing, creative team or creative agency

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $112,800/year in our lowest geographic market up to $186,500/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
