AWS Elemental is the world-leader in video processing products. We are looking for an experienced Product Management professional to define the future vision of live cloud production. We are looking for a PMT-ES who is passionate about solving customers’ problems such as ability to disrupt the on-premise production challenges by helping them move to cloud based solutions. This role will work closely with partners, define the future roadmap for cloud production, negotiate with third party vendors, be responsible for go-to-market, and be the leader in building out a new business space for AWS and Elemental. This PMT-ES has demonstrated success in turning ambiguous customer needs into successful products. Candidates will be comfortable working closely with and across agile teams, both internal and external. This is a high visibility, high impact role that will interact with all levels of AWS leadership. The right person is naturally customer centric and thrives in a fast-paced environment that requires strong technical and business judgment, video production background, and solid communication and writing skills.

Key job responsibilities
Key responsibilities include: working closely with partners, defining the future roadmap for cloud production, negotiating with third party vendors, and building out a new business for AWS and Elemental.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 5+ years of technical product management with internet business experience
- 5+ years of working as a Technical Product Manager experience
- 3+ years of technical (software development, network development, IT, other related) experience
- Experience in taking a product from conception & definition phase through engineering design and taking it to market
- Experience delivering large-scale SaaS, PaaS or LaaS products where you are responsible for the full product lifecycle, from concept through GTM (go to market)

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Knowledge of engineering practices and patterns for the full software/hardware/networks development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, certification, and livesite operations
- Experience working within teams delivering software products and features using agile methodologies
- Master's degree in computer science, information systems or business
- 3+ Experience working with customers and partners in live production industry

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $137,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $236,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
