AI Architect I, Go-To-Market

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 4 years of experience in full-stack software development and system design.
• 1 year of experience building prototypes or applications using Generative AI models (e.g., using Gemini or other Large Language Models).
• Experience with Python and SQL.

Preferred qualifications:

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field.
• Experience with cloud platforms and working with sales, marketing, or business operations teams.
• Familiarity with agentic AI principles and experience building AI agents including emerging frameworks like Agent Development Kit (ADK), A2A, MCP, etc.
• Familiarity with building applications using GenAI techniques such as prompt engineering or Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG).
• Familiarity with the full software development lifecycle, including testing and deployment.

As an AI Architect on the GTM Applied AI team, you will be at the nexus of innovation and execution, building the intelligent systems that will power the future of Google Cloud's commercial engine. You will partner closely with GTM teams to understand their most pressing challenges, then design, prototype, and ship novel AI-powered solutions that generate measurable business value.

In this role, you will move quickly from concept to reality. You will operate like a founder, taking ownership of projects from 0 to 1 and translating complex business needs into tangible, high-impact applications. Your work will directly shape how our sales and operations teams leverage AI, making them more effective and freeing them to focus on what they do best: serving our customers.

Applied AI builds conversational agents deployed at a large scale that achieve very meaningful results in the real world. Some examples include the customer agent built for large call center environments, to fast food ordering handled by our Food AI agent. The team is transforming how enterprises connect with customers through the power of AI. The US base salary range for this full-time position is $125,000-$178,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

• Design, build, and rapidly iterate on high-impact AI prototypes, applications, and tools using Google's AI stack that accelerate Google Cloud’s GTM efforts. Embed with Sales, Operations, and Strategy teams to identify high-value use cases, deeply understand their workflows, and build solutions that address their needs.
• Develop and deploy solutions for key focus areas, including our AI-powered demand generation platform, contributing directly to pipeline goals and operational efficiency.
• Partner with other Engineering and Operations teams to evolve successful prototypes into robust, scalable, and enterprise-ready solutions integrated into core GTM workflows.
• Develop frameworks to measure the Return on Investment (ROI) of AI solutions, quantifying their impact on pipeline, productivity, and key business metrics to inform future development.
• Apply techniques in agentic AI and leverage Google's latest models and platforms to solve real-world customer and internal workflow problems.
