We’re seeking an innovative creative technologist who thrives at the intersection of design and code. This is a high-impact, execution-focused role where you’ll help build visually striking and technically sound interactive campaigns. You’ll work side-by-side with designers, producers, and program managers to turn bold ideas into polished solutions that reach millions of fans.

This is an individual contributor role focused on executing custom ad experiences and scalable creative solutions. Experience in digital advertising, especially in agency or studio settings, is highly valued.


Key job responsibilities
* Execute high-impact advertising campaigns for top entertainment partners across web, mobile and app.
* Build high-fidelity, responsive prototypes to bring creative concepts to life and communicate vision to internal and external stakeholders.
* Translate creative direction and campaign strategy into polished, performant web experiences.
* Collaborate with designers, campaign managers, and account teams to scope and implement interactive campaign deliverables.
* Work within existing frameworks and libraries while pushing the boundaries of what's possible in creative advertising.
* Deliver solutions that meet technical and accessibility standards (including WCAG AA).
* Iterate quickly based on feedback and campaign deadlines.
* Communicate technical approaches and limitations to non-technical teammates and clients.
*Comfort participating in brainstorms and ideation sessions with cross-functional teams.
*Fluent with basic creative tools including Adobe Photoshop, Sketch and Figma
*Demonstrated ability to deliver high-quality work under tight timelines.

About the team
IMDb Creative Studio operates like a boutique agency within Amazon. We partner closely with entertainment clients and internal sales teams to deliver both custom campaigns and scalable ad products. We prioritize creativity, velocity, and precision — balancing rapid custom builds with thoughtful productization to maximize revenue and impact. We are a tight-knit, multidisciplinary group that values collaboration, autonomy, and craft.

This role is onsite in Los Angeles, CA.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- Have coding samples in front end programming languages
- 3+ years of front-end technologist, engineer, or UX prototyper experience
- Have an available online portfolio
- Knowledge of technologies such as JavaScript/NodeJS, HTML/CSS, Responsive/Adaptive Design
- Experience with web, mobile web, or mobile app front-end development
- Experience with UI design for complex workflows and for end users
- Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- 4+ years of front-end technologist, engineer, or UX prototyper experience
- Strong understanding of UX best practices and campaign lifecycle with respect to entertainment, media, or branded content. Ideally with experience in game development technologies (ex Unity, Phaser).

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $118,600/year in our lowest geographic market up to $205,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
