DESCRIPTION

The AWS Global Sales Operations team is seeking a data-driven Sales Operations Analyst to support pipeline analytics and own key components of our target setting process. This role will drive the analysis and insights that inform our global sales leadership's decision-making. The ideal candidate will excel at transforming complex pipeline data into clear, actionable insights while managing cross-functional relationships across our global organization.

Key job responsibilities
Primary Ownership:
• Drive the end-to-end monthly pipeline target setting process across all global theaters
• Own and deliver VP-level performance summaries, synthesizing pipeline data into executive-ready insights
• Develop and maintain analytical frameworks to track performance against targets
• Build and maintain dashboards for real-time visibility into target attainment
• Identify trends and patterns in pipeline data to provide early warning signals

Supporting Role:
• Support maintaining and evolving the global pipeline inspection mechanism
• Assist in preparing pipeline health analysis for Weekly Business Reviews (WBR)
• Partner with regional teams to ensure data quality and consistent reporting
• Support pipeline analysis across both Core AWS and Generative AI businesses

A day in the life
• Partner with regional sales operations teams to gather and validate target setting inputs
• Analyze pipeline trends and prepare VP performance summaries
• Collaborate with Business Intelligence teams to improve reporting automation
• Support weekly and monthly pipeline inspection meetings
• Develop and maintain target tracking dashboards
• Present findings to sales leadership

AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector. The AWS Global Support team interacts with leading companies and believes that world-class support is critical to customer success. AWS Support also partners with a global list of customers that are building mission-critical applications on top of AWS services.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Experience defining, refining and implementing sales processes, procedures and policies or equivalent
- Experience using Microsoft Excel to manipulate and analyze data
- Experience with data visualization software (e.g., AWS QuickSight or Tableau) or open-source project

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- 5+ years of finance, business management and sales operations experience
- Experience working within a high-growth, technology company
- Knowledge of Generative AI technologies and market dynamics

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $79,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $169,500/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
