DESCRIPTION

As a Senior Technical Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for securing and developing strategic partnerships with global third-party OEM organizations on Alexa+ integrations. You will work closely with cross-functional leadership, product development, marketing, and engineering teams, act as the ‘voice of the partner’ for internal Amazon teams, and influence the Alexa+ roadmap.

You will be required to handle multiple high-priority projects simultaneously and effectively negotiate terms that benefit our customers. A successful candidate will have experience working with senior level external partners, strong negotiation acumen, excellent verbal and written communications skills, experience working with a broad array of stakeholders (e.g. product, marketing, legal), and a track record of delivering high quality results.


Key job responsibilities
• Identify, evaluate, negotiate, and manage strategic partnerships that delight customers and support strategic objectives on a global basis.
• Work closely with internal engineering, product, and marketing teams to identify, evaluate and drive feature adoption among top partners.
• Evaluate the economic and strategic costs and benefits of partnerships and work with appropriate leaders across all functional areas of Amazon to execute on the relationships.
• Drive partner success by working closely with cross-matrix teams including: Legal, PR, Marketing, Product, and Engineering.
• Prepare business reviews for internal and external senior management teams.

Alexa+ Built In Business Development team manages global portfolio of third party OEMs that have strategic integrations with Alexa+

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 5+ years of developing, negotiating and executing business agreements experience
- 5+ years of professional or military experience
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience developing strategies that influence leadership decisions at the organizational level

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- MBA degree
- Experience managing strategic partnerships with Fortune 1000 or Global 2000 organizations
- Experience working in AI and/or LLM space

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $133,200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $220,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
